The event brought together 20 participants from diverse sectors, including prison, probation, social services, education, and civil society.
These national workshops are essential in enhancing the quality of data collection in the correctional system. By expanding the discussion beyond correctional staff skills to include all professionals supporting convicted persons, we aim to promote a multi-disciplinary approach and improve rehabilitation efforts.
Key objectives of the workshop:
Identifying gaps and areas for improvement in the correctional system.
Validating findings from previous data collections (surveys, interviews, practices, and policy reviews).
Facilitating discussions with relevant stakeholders to drive evidence-based reforms.
Advocating for cross-sector collaboration to support convicted individuals more effectively.
The insights and feedback collected during the workshop will contribute to refining the PROMOTE system, ensuring that our approach is well-adapted to real-world needs. We are excited to continue these discussions and drive meaningful change in correctional policies and practices.
Stay tuned for more updates on the PROMOTE Project!
