On July 14, we held a National Participation Event as part of the Co-Deal Project, bringing together community members, local stakeholders, and representatives of associated municipalities to exchange ideas and propose solutions to strengthen preparedness for future challenges and crises.
The event provided a valuable platform for open dialogue around community resilience, inclusion, and crisis preparedness. Discussions focused on identifying current gaps and opportunities in how we collectively respond to disruptions and emergencies.
Following the national event, we hosted a Focus Group Session involving local representatives and project partners. The session aimed to:
- Cultivate a shared understanding of inclusion and resilience practices during crises
- Examine the organizational structures and capacities of crisis management entities
- Explore how crises differently impact various community groups and strategies to ensure inclusive public participation
- Identify areas of both resilience and vulnerability to support more effective planning and consensus-building
These insights will directly inform the development of future modules and simulations within the Co-Deal Project. We extend our sincere thanks to all participants for their active engagement and meaningful contributions.
Together, we are working toward more inclusive, informed, and resilient communities.
