Improving maths knowledge using technology

Summer holidays are a great opportunity for children to relax and have fun. But along with relaxation, it would be great to use this part of their free time to increase their maths knowledge. That’s why BETI is launching its ambitious programme to improve the maths knowledge of 300 pupils using advanced technology.

Starting in June, BETI is organising sessions for students aged 6 to 12 years old, with the aim of helping children to strengthen their maths knowledge and skills. These sessions are unusual because they involve Bee-Bot robots. With their help, children will learn maths and have fun.

In developing this programme, the focus is on a variety of maths topics that can be challenging for many pupils. Geometry, graphing, counting and spatial reasoning are just some of the areas covered. These lessons not only help to improve understanding of mathematics, but also encourage creativity and logical thinking. The lesson scripts are developed in collaboration with experts from Latvia, Poland, Romania and Turkey. This international dimension ensures that the lessons are varied and reflect the different mathematics teaching practices of the countries.

Scripts for the sessions will be available on https://blwithrobotics.eu/ in the near future. There, teachers will be able to find all the information they need about the programme and access the teaching materials. This will enable all interested persons to join this innovative learning experience.

Stay tuned for updates to learn more about the programme and all its achievements. This is a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge of mathematics and immerse yourself in a fun and interactive learning environment. BETI hopes that this programme will stimulate many children’s interest in mathematics and inspire them to excel in this important area.
