About GreenMove: Transforming Rural Mobility for a Greener Future
Funded by the European Commission under the CERV-2024 Network of Towns Initiative, GreenMove is an ambitious project tackling the environmental challenges of rural transportation. By promoting sustainable mobility solutions through innovative technologies, participatory strategies, and cross-border cooperation, GreenMove aims to reduce pollution and traffic congestion while fostering eco-friendly rural development.
The project will enhance dialogue among stakeholders by organizing seminars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events to promote best practices. With the use of digital tools and smart mobility solutions, GreenMove seeks to facilitate the adoption of sustainable transportation policies in rural communities.
A Strong Network for Lasting Impact
GreenMove has established a robust network of cities committed to sustainable mobility. Over the next 18 months, the project will develop tailored action plans for each participating rural area, ensuring active citizen and local authority engagement. By promoting democratic participation and raising awareness of European values, GreenMove underscores the critical role of sustainable mobility in shaping rural communities’ future.
