GreenMove Comes to Paphos: Shaping Sustainable Mobility in Coastal Europe

The GreenMove project is pleased to announce its 5th transnational event, taking place in Paphos, Cyprus, from 2–5 March 2026. This four-day international meeting will bring together partners and experts from 16 European countries to exchange knowledge and good practices on sustainable mobility and green transformation.

The Paphos event will focus on “Rural Transformation through Sustainable Mobility and Low Emission Zones in Coastal Areas”, highlighting how transport infrastructure can support a holistic approach to societal progress, environmental protection, and inclusive development. Workshops and presentations will explore innovative solutions for sustainable transportation, particularly in rural and coastal regions.

Alongside the technical sessions, participants will take part in cultural and study visits, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kato Paphos, Paphos Harbour and Castle, and surrounding traditional villages. These activities aim to strengthen cooperation, inspire dialogue, and connect sustainability policies with local heritage and community life.

The GreenMove Paphos event continues the project’s mission to foster collaboration, innovation, and shared learning towards a greener and more sustainable future for Europe.\
