Digit2Me Multiplier Event: Sharing Project Results and Promoting Digital Inclusion

The Erasmus+ Digit2Me project successfully held its Multiplier Event, bringing together participants to explore the project’s achievements, innovative educational resources, and opportunities for promoting digital mentoring and social inclusion.

The event provided a valuable platform for educators, youth workers, social workers, mentors, representatives of non-governmental organisations, and other stakeholders to learn about the project’s outcomes and discuss how digital mentoring can support vulnerable young people, particularly those with disabilities living in rural areas.

Presenting the Digit2Me Project Results

During the event, participants were introduced to the main objectives, activities, and results of the Digit2Me project. Particular attention was given to the role of digital mentoring in overcoming geographical and social barriers, strengthening independence, and improving access to learning opportunities.

The presentations highlighted several key project outcomes:

  • Digital mentoring methodology: An innovative approach to providing individualised guidance and support to vulnerable young people.
  • Training programmes for mentors and mentees: Educational resources designed to develop mentoring, social, communication, and digital competences.
  • Online MOOC courses: Accessible learning opportunities allowing participants to develop their skills at their own pace.
  • Instructional videos and interactive materials: Additional resources supporting the learning process and practical application of knowledge.
  • Practical experiences and good practices: Insights into the implementation of digital mentoring and its potential application in different educational and social contexts.

Participants also had the opportunity to explore the Digit2Me website and discover how the project’s educational resources can be accessed and integrated into their professional activities.

Encouraging Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration

Beyond presenting the project’s results, the event created opportunities for meaningful discussions, professional networking, and the exchange of experiences.

Participants explored how digital mentoring approaches could be adapted to various settings, including youth work, education, and social services.

The discussions highlighted the importance of accessible digital learning tools, personalised mentoring, and cooperation between organisations in creating more inclusive opportunities for young people.

Looking Ahead: Supporting Sustainable Digital Inclusion

The successful Multiplier Event represented an important step in disseminating the Digit2Me project’s results and encouraging their continued use beyond the project partnership.

By introducing the developed methodology, training programmes, and digital learning resources to a wider audience, the event contributed to raising awareness of the importance of inclusive digital mentoring.

The positive feedback and participants’ willingness to use and share the resources highlight the potential for Digit2Me to support future educational and social inclusion initiatives.

We sincerely thank all participants for their engagement, valuable contributions, and interest in the Digit2Me project!

Together, we can continue creating more accessible learning opportunities and empowering young people through digital mentoring.
