We are excited to share updates on the CLIMPs – Twinning for 2030 Climate Change Action Plan Model in Industrial Manufacturing Platforms project!
Funded by the European Union, CLIMPs fosters collaboration between Türkiye and Lithuania to enhance climate adaptation in industrial regions. Over the past six months, we’ve been working towards developing a sustainable action plan that strengthens industrial resilience and reduces carbon emissions.
Key Achievements So Far:
Mapping & Research – We have assessed industrial needs, challenges, and climate adaptation potential in partner regions.
Climate Action Plan Development – The foundation for the 2030 Climate Change Action Plan Model has been laid, guiding industries toward a greener transition.
Local & Policy Engagement – Discussions have been conducted to align strategies with the EU Green Deal.
International Collaboration – Visits and exchanges between Türkiye and Lithuania have fostered cooperation and knowledge-sharing.
Public Awareness & Youth Involvement – We have been engaging local communities and young people in climate discussions to ensure long-term impact.
What’s Next?
As we move forward, the focus remains on finalizing the Climate Change Action Plan Model, strengthening policy recommendations, and ensuring that industries are equipped with the right tools for a sustainable future.
