On 27 October 2026, a multiplier event of the Erasmus+ DigiBoost project took place in Lithuania, bringing together participants interested in digital education, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning. The event provided an opportunity to present the project’s key achievements, developed educational resources, and results of the pilot training activities implemented in Lithuania.
Promoting Digital Skills and Entrepreneurship in Rural Communities
The DigiBoost project aims to strengthen digital and entrepreneurial competencies among adults, particularly those living in rural areas and facing fewer opportunities to access education and professional development.
Through international cooperation, the project seeks to address the digital skills gap by developing accessible, practical, and innovative learning opportunities that support digital inclusion, employability, and entrepreneurship.
The dissemination event highlighted the importance of digital education in empowering individuals to adapt to technological changes, explore new business opportunities, and actively participate in the digital economy.

Presenting Key Project Activities and Results
During the event, participants were introduced to the main activities carried out within the DigiBoost project and the educational resources developed by the international partnership.
Particular attention was given to the training programme, designed to support the development of essential digital and entrepreneurial skills. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises and real-life examples, enabling learners to apply newly acquired competencies in everyday and professional contexts.
The DigiBoost digital learning platform was also presented, demonstrating how online learning resources can provide flexible and accessible educational opportunities for adult learners.
The event offered an opportunity to discuss how these resources can be used by adult education providers, trainers, community organisations, and individuals interested in developing their digital skills.
Pilot Training Results in Lithuania
One of the key highlights of the event was the presentation of the pilot training results achieved in Lithuania.
The pilot training was implemented by the Baltic Education Technology Institute (BETI) and involved 15 adult participants, all of whom successfully completed the blended learning programme.
The training focused on two key modules:
- Module 5: Social Media Management – covering social media strategies, online communication, audience engagement, content planning, and digital presence management.
- Module 6: Rural Entrepreneurship – exploring business opportunities in rural areas, sustainable entrepreneurship, local resources, financial support opportunities, and community development.
The programme combined face-to-face training, online learning, and individual study, providing participants with opportunities to develop their competencies through different learning approaches.
Positive Feedback and Learning Outcomes
The pilot training evaluation demonstrated highly positive results regarding the quality of the programme, learning materials, and digital learning platform.
Participants particularly appreciated the practical exercises, real-life business examples, opportunities for discussion, and the direct applicability of acquired knowledge.
These results indicate that the training approach was well received and helped participants strengthen their confidence in using digital tools and exploring entrepreneurial opportunities.
Sustainability and Future Application of Project Results
Another important topic discussed during the dissemination event was the sustainability and future application of DigiBoost outcomes.
The developed training programme, educational materials, and digital learning platform offer opportunities for continued use in adult education, particularly in initiatives supporting rural communities and individuals with limited access to digital learning opportunities.
The event encouraged reflection on how these resources could be integrated into existing educational activities and adapted to different learning needs.
By combining digital skills development with entrepreneurship education, DigiBoost contributes to creating more inclusive learning environments and supporting individuals in building confidence, independence, and new professional opportunities.

Supporting Digital Inclusion Through International Cooperation
The dissemination event provided an opportunity to share experiences, present project achievements, and highlight the value of international cooperation in addressing digital education challenges.
The positive results of the pilot training in Lithuania demonstrate the potential of practical, flexible, and learner-centred approaches to strengthening digital and entrepreneurial competencies among adults.
We sincerely thank everyone who participated in the event and contributed to the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and ideas.
Through initiatives such as DigiBoost, we continue to promote lifelong learning, digital inclusion, and sustainable entrepreneurship in rural communities.
