A three-part Digit2Me online seminar series has been completed

We are pleased to share that we have successfully completed a three-part online seminar series dedicated to the presentation of the Digit2Me MOOC platform, practical mentoring methods, and the game board.

During the seminars, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the tools developed within the Digit2Me project, their practical application, and how they can support the mentoring process when working with vulnerable young people, especially those living in rural areas.

Seminar topics and dates

The three-part seminar series covered the following topics:

1. Presentation of the Digit2Me MOOC Platform

Date: 28 May 2026

During the first seminar, we presented the Digit2Me MOOC platform, its structure, main services and learning opportunities. Participants were introduced to the courses designed for mentors and young people, topics related to social and digital skills, the public relations module, the video library, and other tools available on the platform.

2. Practical Methods Used in Mentoring

Date: 29 May 2026

The second seminar focused on practical methods used in mentoring. We discussed how different methods can help mentors build a relationship with young people, clarify expectations, encourage reflection, plan goals and strengthen independence. Various methods applicable in both individual and group mentoring were presented during the seminar.

3. The Game Board

Date: 3 June 2026

During the third seminar, participants were introduced to the Digit2Me game board. We discussed how this visual and engaging tool can help structure the mentoring process, plan activities, monitor progress and encourage young people’s active participation. Practical examples were also presented on how to use the game board in individual meetings and group sessions.

Aim of the seminars

The aim of these seminars was to present the results of the Digit2Me project and demonstrate how they can be practically applied when working with young people. Particular attention was given to mentoring as a supportive process that helps young people better understand themselves, strengthen their social and digital skills, set goals, and plan their future with greater confidence.

Participant engagement

We would like to thank all participants who joined the seminars, listened actively, shared their thoughts and showed interest in the Digit2Me project tools. We believe that the tools and methods presented will be useful for mentors, youth workers, social workers, educators and organisations working with young people.

Further application

The Digit2Me MOOC platform, mentoring methods and game board can be used as practical tools for organising the mentoring process, strengthening young people’s inclusion and encouraging their independence.

We hope that the materials presented during the seminars will encourage professionals to actively apply the Digit2Me project results in their work and contribute to strengthening opportunities for vulnerable young people.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the three-part Digit2Me seminar series!
