Digit2Me Partners Meet in Lanciano, Italy for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting

On September 9–10, 2025, the partners of the Digit2Me project – Digital Mentoring for Young People with Disabilities in Rural Areas – gathered in Lanciano, Italy for the 3rd Transnational Project Coordination Meeting. The event was hosted by Consorzio Cooperative Sociali GLOBAL MED CARE and brought together representatives from Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Lithuania, Turkey, and Italy.

The meeting focused on reviewing the project’s progress and aligning upcoming activities. Key discussions included:

  • Project coordination and quality assurance: updates on progress against the GANTT chart, risk management, and planning of upcoming tasks.
  • MOOC on Digital Mentoring (WP3): validation of the final structure, digital tools, and usability feedback.
  • Pilot implementation of digital mentoring (WP4): planning the pilot phases in each partner country, including participant and mentor selection criteria, monitoring tools, support structures, and anticipated challenges.
  • Workshops and training: organisation of virtual seminars and face-to-face training activities in rural areas.
  • Policy recommendations (WP5): integration of pilot results into national contexts, drafting policy recommendations, and ensuring sustainability and institutional uptake.
  • Dissemination and visibility: coordination of communication activities, stakeholder involvement, and preparation of multiplier events.
  • Project management (WP1): financial reporting, progress checklists, and planning for the next transnational meeting in Antalya, Turkey.

The two-day meeting provided a valuable opportunity for all partners to exchange experiences, strengthen collaboration, and ensure the successful implementation of the project’s next phases.
