The final meeting of the European project SMART, focused on integrating AR technology in schools, took place in Palermo at CEIPES headquarters. This project, in collaboration with international partners, aims to transform STEM education by introducing augmented reality, enhancing lesson interactivity, and strengthening students’ interest and skills in science and technology.
SMART’s goal is to make advanced AR technology accessible in schools across Europe, fostering essential tech skills aligned with future job market demands and opening new pathways for innovative learning. The project culminates in the smARt International AR Competition, inviting students passionate about science and technology to showcase their creativity and contribute to a sustainable future.
