Led by Dr. Aysun Caliskan from VUB, the panel discussion on Teacher Competences in Digital Pedagogy sparked dynamic exchanges on leveraging digital technologies to enhance student engagement, foster critical thinking, and promote collaboration. While celebrating the benefits, participants also delved into the challenges and concerns, emphasizing the importance of balancing traditional and digital learning modes.
Afternoon sessions featured insights from Greta Volodzkaitė (BETI) on creating digital bridges in education and Milcu Teodora-Maria (LBUS) on enhancing teachers’ digital content development skills. Prof. Melita Kovacevic and Prof. Anna Maria Migdał led discussions on AI’s role in higher education.
