We’re delighted to share highlights from our recent e-Teach Project meeting held on August 28-29, 2023. Partners from universities around the world, including Helsinki University, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Baltic Education Technology Institute, and more, came together to make this event a success.
Day 1 started with a warm welcome over coffee and discussions on our project’s goals. Prof. Dr. Jari Lavonen provided insights into the Finnish school system, followed by talks on translating project outputs and plans for the e-Teach Certificate Program.
In the afternoon, we delved into a detailed review of our Teacher Guide and Online Education Resources and even had a hands-on experience with Virtual Reality technology. The day concluded with productive discussions and a delightful social dinner.
Day 2 began with more coffee and discussions about Project Multiplier Events and project management. We outlined our upcoming meetings and commitments to disseminating our project’s outputs via social media, websites, and blog posts.
In summary, our Helsinki meeting was a resounding success, bringing us closer to our digital pedagogy goals. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey!
