YouthEmploy project was presented in Junior Programmers' School in Kaunas.

The Junior Programmers' School is a well known informal computing school in Lithuania. Every year it's students become many young childrens aged from 9 to 18 years old. Junior Programmers' School has became a stimulus to choose technology related studies as it provides high quality informal learning modules and prepare it's students for studies in various universities in Lithuania. 

The New Schooling Year opening Event was organized on 8th of October, 2016 in Kaunas. The representative of BETI was invited to present the YouthEmploy project and tell more about the oportunities in IT sector. Reda Bartkute has made a presentation about the YouthEmploy project and invited students of Junior Programmers' School to try the platform and choose internships wisely. 

29th September 2016

On 23rd of September the education providers and career counselors were invited to the Multiplier Event of YouthEmploy project. The project and it's results were presented to the audience. During the event, the participants had an unique opportunity to try out YouthEmploy platform in various modes: intern, internship provider or training centre and disscuss about their experience using the platform.

21st September 2016

On 20th of September the education providers and career counselors were invited to the final Conference of YouthEmploy project. The project and it's results were presented to the audience.

YouthEmploy project partners meeting organized in Dublin, Ireland on 20-21 of September, 2016. There were discussed outcomes and further steps of the project.

The meeting discussed outcomes and further steps of the project as follows:

  • The Spot Check Feedback was reviewed and agreed.
  • Review of Pilot Testing was disscussed and agreed.
  • Further Dissemination and Exploitation Activities were disscussed and agreed. 
  • Finances of the project was agreed.
  • Further works and plans.

YouthEmploy project was presented during the market for children of Z generation on 4th of September in Kaunas.

The aim of the market is to bring all informal and non-formal education providers under one roof and provide and opportunity to present themselves to potentional students as well as get known to each other and bring up a discussion about future informal education activities. One of the main topics of the market was students readiness for job-market and how informal and non-formal education can help to gain the practise and knowledge for various fields.
