BETI Institute is actively working on the inclusion of women in information technology. For this reason, we are very happy to present a new project at the Institute - "WOMEN4IT - Innovative Solutions to increase the numbers of EU vulnerable girls and young women into the digital agenda". The project partnership consists of 9 countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Belgium, Ireland, Romania, Norway, Spain and Malta.
In order to clarify the need for employees' digital skills, stakeholder meetings are held in all countries to discuss obstacles to young women entering the labor market, the most needed skills, the quality of training, mentoring, etc. The first meeting has already taken place in Lithuania. The Baltic Institute of Educational Technologies (BETI), as a responsible partner, has invited nine executives and representatives of the company who highlighted the skills and obstacles that they consider to be a barrier to successful work in ICT.
